图型介面软体常用的有:Scantool, Scanmaster, Proscan, PcmSCAN, Digimoto，也可以使用超级终端机搭配AT指令使用。安装与使用说明：
1、安装光盘或下载的elm327软件。
2、将ODB-Ⅱ电缆与汽车ODB-Ⅱ接口连接。
3、将ODB-Ⅱ电缆与ELM327连接。此时，电源灯（power）会亮，ODB TX/RX灯会闪烁，说明连接正常。
4、将USB连接线把ELM327与电脑连接起来。此时电脑会提示发现新硬件，按照电脑提示好安装光盘内或网络下载的USB驱动程序。进入电脑的“设备管理器”点击端口，你会发现新安装的硬件“USB Serial Port”，记下右边的COM号。（该COM号将在下一步的软件设置中用到）
